I can help you come up with a one-of-a-kind gift or painting for your home or business.
Commissioning a painting is easier than you think…
I have over fifteen years experience in the field of oil painting and I was a mural painter and faux-finisher for more than ten years before that.
I know the questions to ask to help you come up with the perfect finished product. So don’t be nervous about commissioning a painting. It’s easier than you think.
And I will help you every step of the way…
I have done commissions for Father’s day:
(a painting of their own toast)
Wedding gift from bride to groom:
(The view from his deer stand)
Celebrating a new house:
and of course,..PETS!
It can be done sometimes
in as little as two to three weeks.
You choose an image.
It can be a photo or a combination of a couple of photos. It can also be an image or past painting of mine that you find on the internet. Or you tell me what subject and I provide you with some suggested images.
We will work together to come up with ideas to make the painting uniquely your own.
You choose a size.
I will furnish you with a list of standard sizes and prices and you decide what fits your space and budget.
You choose whether you want to just give me a rough idea of what you want and let me run with it.
I can ask a bunch of questions and let you give as much input as you would like. I will listen to what you say you have in mind and then ask lots of questions to be sure what is in your head ends up on the canvas.
The Easy Part
You sit back and wait.
I will get to work painting. I will contact you if I need to ask about any aspect of the job.
Then I will send you a photo of the finished or almost finished product. At any point during the process you can change something that is not exactly what you want.
It’s only paint.
“I LOVE IT!”
This is what I want to hear when we are done.
Then and only then do you pay for your painting and arrange for delivery.
It’s as easy as that!
So go to the Contact page and send me any questions or requests for info you may have. I would love to hear from you!
